Past Life Lab ("the Service") values your personal information and complies with applicable data-protection laws, including Korea's Personal Information Protection Act. This policy explains how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
The Service can be used without creating an account. We may collect:
- Quiz responses and results: the result codes and slugs of the series you complete. These are stored in your browser's
localStorageand are never sent to our servers. - Access logs & device information: IP address, User-Agent, access time, etc., automatically collected by our hosting infrastructure (Vercel) for security and abuse prevention (retained short-term).
2. Third-Party Analytics
The Service uses the following third-party analytics tools. See each provider's policy for details.

3. Retention and Deletion
Data stored in your browser (test results) is permanently deleted as soon as you delete it yourself or clear your browser data. Because the Service does not store it on any server, no separate destruction procedure is required.
4. Your Rights
- You can delete all of your data immediately via your browser settings → clear site data.
- To opt out of third-party analytics tracking, use your browser's "Do Not Track" setting or ad/cookie blocking features.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
The Service uses sessionStorage and localStorage for functionality (preserving test progress, unified profile). Analytics tools may set their own cookies.
6. Advertising
The Service displays advertisements through ad networks such as Kakao AdFit and Google AdSense. Ad networks may use de-identified identifiers, cookies, and coarse location (country level) to serve personalized ads in accordance with their own policies.
7. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in law or the Service. Updates will be posted on this page; material changes will be announced separately on the main page.
