Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Past Life Lab ("the Service") and its users in connection with the use of all services provided by the Service, including psychological tests and the unified profile feature.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "Service" means the web-based psychological test platform operated by Past Life Lab.
  • "User" means anyone who uses the Service under these Terms.
  • "Result" means the output of a test completed by a User (type code, character, and description).

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)

These Terms take effect upon being posted on the Service. The Service may amend these Terms when reasonable cause arises, and the amended Terms take effect from the time they are posted on this page.

Article 4 (No Account Registration)

The Service does not require account registration. Information such as nicknames entered by Users is stored in the browser and does not constitute registration with the Service.

Article 5 (Services Provided)

  • Psychological test content
  • Sharing of result pages (KakaoTalk, link copy, etc.)
  • Creation and download of unified profile cards
  • Other features the Service may additionally develop

Article 6 (Restrictions on Use)

Users must not engage in any of the following:

  • Interfering with the stable operation of the Service (mass automated requests, DoS attempts, etc.)
  • Copying, redistributing, or commercially using the Service's content without permission
  • Registering nicknames that defame or insult others
  • Any act that violates applicable laws

Article 7 (Copyright)

All content provided by the Service — text, images (including character illustrations), and code — belongs to the Service or its rightful owners. Users may share result pages for personal, non-commercial purposes; commercial use or derivative works require prior written consent.

Article 8 (Reliability of Results)

The tests on this Service are provided for entertainment purposes only and are not a substitute for medical or psychological diagnosis or counseling. Please do not use the results as a basis for decision-making.

Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service shall not be liable for service interruption or data loss caused by force majeure, hosting infrastructure failures, failures of third-party analytics/sharing tools, or a User's misuse.

Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)

Any dispute between the Service and a User shall first be resolved through consultation in good faith. If consultation fails, jurisdiction lies with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
